Syrinx was founded in Hamburg in April 1996. Initially we concentrated on pro- viding the international recording industry with comprehensive ser- vices ranging from the initial recording to the design of the cover. Our activities, however, soon widened to include media convergence and the discreet combination of online and offline. In the meantime, Syrinx has become one of the most renowned and innovative companies worldwide both in the field of conceptional pre-production and in the exploration of new openings for application technologies. Our facilities include modern multimedia studios, a more capacious studio for sound and video recording, as well as one capable of handling complex surround-sound mixing. We also collaborate with an international network of designers, editors and translators in order to be able, in these areas, too, to meet the new demands of an increasingly closely-knit world swiftly, competently and with the requisite flexibility.
