Das Fest im Meer
The world-premiere of this opera composed by Joern Arneke (Text: Francis Huesers after the novel "To The Wedding" by John Berger) in July was performed in the cultural center Kampnagel in Hamburg. Syrinx was responsable for the the live recording on behalf of the Hamburg State Opera. For budget reasons "only" a stereo recording for CD was made. This was a pity, as the work - with the instruments placed around in the audience - would have been ideal for a surround recording.
