Chrismon Christmassongs Vol. II
The successful Chrismon series containing songs to singalong is being continued. After the recording of the choir last April in
Senwarden, chief audio engineer Marcus Herzog went to Stade to record
the well known Erasmus-Bielefeld organ with Albrecht Behrends, who
improvised on the chants. He was shocked to note, that the organ
was tuned much higher than the choir sang. This was a mystery, as
the recording of the choir was bases on the tuning of this organ!
However, the cause was found: the tuning tunes for the choir were
recorded in winter and now it was almost summer and every organ
sounnds higher when it is warmer. Marcus Herzog has performed a
little miracle to match both recordings.
