New “Popstars” band “Monrose” release first DVD „The Making of Monrose“

The winners of the casting show "Popstars" are now final: Mandy, Senna and Bahar will follow in the footsteps of the "No Angels". After the big “Popstars” finale at the end of November the first single of the “Monrose” – the ballade "Shame" – was already released on December 1, 2006. Especially thrilling was the speed with which this production was to complete: parallel to the film cutting at Tresor TV in Munich, Syrinx started the production process of the DVD. The DVD was completed in record time and the fans could purchase it in the stores already on December 15.

The DVD shows the background and the development of all three girls for which the dream of being a pop-star has come true. In the casting show Senna Gammour (26), Bahar Kizil (18) and Mandy Capristo were able to stand up against their competition.
The singing contest started already in May 2006 with over 5000 girls. The jury – including Nina Hagen, choreographer Detlef D! Soost and music producer Dieter Falk – had first to select a smaller group of girls. Later these girls had to stand up against each other in singing, dance performance and fitness.

The DVD shows the best scenes from the „Popstars Hype“, the locations, the history and of course the band. The highlights of the workshops in Ischgl as well as the emotional decisions in the band house in Munich are summarized with very impressive pictures from the ProSieben casting show. For every single girl of the band the DVD has an own special story with very personal moments. And, of course, the DVD with 120 minutes material includes also the video to the single „Shame“ as well as the „Making of“ the song.
