Cuba Meets Wagner

The most unusual project for a long time was realised in cooperation with GATEWAY4M. Its title Cuba Meets Wagner tells already what it is all about: a fusion of Richard Wagner's music and traditional Cuban Son.

Syrinx realised the concert live recording of the world premiere and the DVD production. This DVD is rich in content and offers innovative features like the so-called "Wagner Workshop": As soon as a quote of Richard Wagner's work occurs, a little icon of the master's head appears on screen. Then it is possible for the viewer to listen to the corresponding original excerpt simply by pressing a button.

Cuba Meets Wagner is the first project of a series accompanying Wagner on a worldwide musical voyage.
